Prior to joining Southern, Mike spent 12 years with Guthrie Medical Center in northern Pennsylvania. The last title he held at Guthrie was Director of New Application Development. Mike pursued career opportunities in Florida after being tired of cold winters and living in a small, remote location.

Within two years at Southern, he moved into application development and implemented an entire client/server suite of applications – including core applications that are still in use at Southern today.  

Mike is one of the first members of the Southern Wine & Spirits Group Services Division (GSD) and was promoted to the position of Business Manager, representing GSD’s divisional customers, soon after the division was created. Mike’s business knowledge and in-depth understanding of user needs made him the perfect candidate.

In early 2005, Mike was promoted to Enterprise Services Director after Southern’s Group and Shared Services Division was merged to create the Business Solutions Group. As Enterprise Services Director, Mike oversees the business managers and other departments that have direct contact with Southern’s divisions on a daily basis.

Mike earned an Associates Degree in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family. An accomplished keyboardist, Mike plays in his church’s nine-member contemporary band.
