Katherine joined Southern Wine and Spirits Business Solutions Group (BSG) in June of 2004 as the Project Management Officer.  Kathy’s role is focused on bringing formal processes, tools, and education to our project teams in BSG.  Kathy is also responsible for maintaining an inventory of our project Portfolio.  In July 0f 2006, Kathy was elevated to Director, Project Management Office.  This role acknowledges the significance of completing projects for Southern Wine and Spirits, on time, within budget, and with quality built into each product and project that BSG delivers.  As Southern Wine continues to grow and maintain its’ leadership in our industry, Kathy’s role will play a significant factor in our efforts.

Kathy has spent more than 20 years in aggressive acquisition growth companies.  Most recently, she worked for Iron Mountain Records Management, Inc.  During her tenure at Iron Mountain, Kathy held the position of Program Manager working on both domestic and international consolidation and conversion projects for inventory, financials, and HR data from various legacy systems to a 3 tiered ERP environment.

 She was also responsible for additional modules, upgrades, and equipment migration of this environment. Other positions included Manager, Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable, for the accounting group and Lead for integration of financial processes and systems as a result of more than 142 acquisitions. Kathy was instrumental to introducing formal Project Management Processes and the professional designation of PMP (Project Management Professional) to the company. 

Kathy holds a Bachelors degree in business with an accounting concentration, and was certified as a PMP in June of 2003.  She has been a PMI member for four years and currently holds the position of Vice President, Membership for the PMI South Florida Chapter.
