Steve Meyers began his career in the Wine & Spirits Industry in 1995 in National Brand Management at Schieffelin & Somerset in New York. He held various roles on the Johnnie Walker and Tanqueray brand teams for seven years, at which time he moved into portfolio-wide Region Marketing positions in the Northeast and Control State Regions.
In 2006, Steve joined Coastal Wine & Spirits of Florida as Director of Trade Development. At CWS, Steve was responsible for the oversight of the Diageo Spirits and Diageo Chateau and Estates portfolios, including development of pricing strategy, implementation of monthly programs, and development of best-in-class reporting tools.
In 2010, Steve moved to Indiana as Vice President of Trade Marketing for Southern Wines and Spirits’ startup operation and in 2011, was appointed Director of Trade Development and Commercial Strategy for Coastal-Pacific Wine & Spirits’ national team, a dedicated division servicing Diageo and Moet Hennessy portfolios across 7 open markets (CA, FL, IN, WA, KY, HI, AK) and was promoted to Vice President of Trade Development in 2013.
Steve earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brandeis University and his MBA in Marketing from Duke University. He resides in San Francisco with his fiancé, Marisol.
