Lawrence Kung

Lawrence brings more than 10 years of Beverage Alcohol experience to his role as Vice President of Commercial Strategy for Coastal-Pacific Wine & Spirits. Lawrence joined the newly-created Southern Wine and Spirits Strategic Programs Group in 2005, where he worked on a number of key corporate initiatives for SWS of America, including supplier recruitment and strategy, procurement, and corporate vision. In 2011, after leading SWS of America’s route-to-market initiative with Diageo and Moet Hennessy USA, Lawrence joined the Coastal-Pacific Wine & Spirits senior leadership team, driving route-to-market optimization and transformation, strategic performance initiatives and leading contract compliance and supplier bonus initiatives.

Before joining SWS, Lawrence worked in Management Consulting as a Principal for A.T. Kearney out of their Chicago office, on a number of domestic and international engagements. Lawrence completed his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering in Paris France, then was awarded his MS in Geotechnical/Environmental Engineering from Northwestern, and finally, received his MBA from University of Chicago, with a concentration in Strategy.

Lawrence resides in San Francisco with his wife, Pauline and son, Olivier, and works out of the SWS San Francisco office.
