Southern Wine & Spirits’ Coastal Pacific Wine & Spirits Division Announces Appointment of John Landry to Vice President, General Manager for the States of Washington, Oregon and Alaska
Landry to Report to Gerald Rivero, Coastal Pacific Wine & Spirits Division’s EVP, General Manager


Miami, Florida, February 29, 2012 – Gerald Rivero, Jr., Executive Vice President, General Manager of Southern Wine & Spirits of America’s Coastal Pacific Wine & Spirits Division— which represents the Diageo and Moët Hennessy USA portfolios—today announced the appointment of John Landry as Vice President, General Manager for Coastal Pacific’s operations in Alaska, Oregon and Washington. The appointment is effective March 1, 2012.

Brad Vassar, Executive Vice President, General Manager of Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc., said, “We are confident that John’s long experience with and record of achievement at Diageo North America will translate into strong leadership for Southern’s service excellence in Alaska, Oregon and Washington.”

Rivero added, “We are thrilled to continue to add amazing talent to our Coastal Pacific team, and know that John will be critical to our ongoing efforts to deliver industry-leading services on behalf of these two important suppliers to all of our customers in Alaska, Oregon and Washington.

Prior to his move to Washington, Landry served as Senior Vice President, General Manager, Diageo North America with responsibility for Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina and Tennessee. Before that he served as Diageo’s Vice President, General Manager for Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland and New Jersey. Landry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
