October 6, 2011, Miramar, Florida – Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc. (Southern), the nation’s leading wine and spirits distributor with operations in 35 states, today announced the appointment of John Wittig to Executive Vice President-General Manager of South Florida. This appointment is effective January 1, 2012, and Wittig will report directly to Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida (SWS of Florida), Executive Vice President-General Manager Steve Power.

(Southern), the nation’s largest wine and spirits distributor and broker with operations in 35 markets, as the exclusive distributor of Pernod Ricard's full portfolio of wines and champagnes in the state of Minnesota. Southern Wine & Spirits of Minnesota (SWS of Minnesota) has also been named Pernod Ricard's preferred spirits distributor across the state.
