January 16, 2013, Miami, FL - Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc. (Southern), the nation’s largest wine and spirits distributor with current operations in 35 states, is proud to announce the appointment of Cleighton Leong to Vice President, Commercial Intelligence Platform (CIP). Leong will head a newly-created CIP team that will serve as a coordinated, enterprise capability that develops and supports leading analytical and commercial tools to enhance marketing insights, selling execution and market-level competitiveness. The CIP team will report into Southern’s Corporate Sales & Marketing organization and will leverage close coordination with and support from Southern’s Business Solutions Group (BSG).

(New York, NY) November 19, 2012: Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc. (Southern), the nation’s leading wine and spirits distributor with operations in 35 states, has announced that it will be leveraging its caring culture and the generosity of its 12,500 employees from across the country in implementing a multi-level relief effort for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Southern’s three-pronged approach includes (1) emergency assistance to impacted Southern employees, (2) an employee donation matching program for the communities impacted by Sandy, and (3) Southern division-level relief benefits and fundraisers.
