Comisario is an ultra-premium estate-grown tequila from Tepatitlan in the highlands of Jalisco. The Ochoas family has been growing blue agave for over 75 years. The plant is matured for eight to nine years for peak sweetness and flavor, then hand-selected and harvested.
Tequila types
Blanco
Not aged and never touches wood. A soft silky entry that finishes with a long, elegant spicy fade. A superb sipping tequila.
Reposado
Aged for seven months. A soft satiny entry to a dry, fruity medium-to-full body. Finishing with a long, spicy, sweet honey fade. Best enjoyed on the rocks.
Aňejo
The brand’s crowning achievement. Aged for 23 months. The aroma consists of caramel custard and nougat. A body with a silky entry full of cooked agave and mocha accents. With a long finish of peppers, oak, and spice. An excellent sipper.
Accolades
In 2008, the blanco garnered a gold medal while the reposado and aňjeo received silver medals from the Beverage Testing Institute. |
