New tequila brands from Sauza: the taste of Old Mex

Southern Wine & Spirits is pleased to announce the statewide distribution of two new Sauza tequila brands: Cien Aňos and Hacienda. As with all Sauza tequilas, Hacienda and Cien Aňos are distilled from blue agave and produced in the age-old way for an authentic tequila flavor.

Hacienda is a 51 percent reposado tequila rested for four months in American oak barrels. It is being marketed as an authentic Mexican tequila delivering super premium quality at a premium price. SWS supplier partner Allied Domecq has positioned Hacienda as a trade-up brand from blanco and joven tequilas. Hacienda is available in 1.75L, 1L and 750 ml bottles.

Produced in Mexico for 100 years, Sauza’s Cien Aňos is a bright bronze reposado with aromas of vanilla caramel sweetness, light fermented vegetable notes and a hint of oak. The taste is smooth and light with white pepper and agave softened by delicate suggestions of salt brine. Target consumers are first-generation Hispanics. All consumer materials will be in Spanish only. Cien Aňos is available in 750 ml bottles.
