hornitos

A new look for Sauza Hornitos

The benefits

• Now available in a sleeker, more sophisticated bottle, this affordable 100 percent tequila is recognized for its smooth and complex taste.
• Hornitos for years has been a prime trading-up choice for consumers graduating from lower-quality tequilas.
• This better experience for the consumer also rewards the retailer with a higher ring.

Sourcing and production

• Hornitos is made from only estate-grown agave plants.
• The agave plants used in Hornitos are sourced from the Los Altos growing region and typically aged 10 to 12 years.
• Hornitos gently extracts the agave juice by “steeping” with a hot water process that allows the juice to be fermented without the plant fibers.
• Pure agave juice is fermented with the same process and yeast strains traced to Don Cenabio Sauza in 1873.
