Michael Collins Irish Whiskey: The Heroic Spirit
The legendary Irish hero, Michael Collins, affectionately known as “The Big Fellow,” was the spearhead of Ireland’s struggle for independence and the architect of the Treaty of 1921, from which modern Ireland emerged. He died at the age of 31, but his heroic spirit lives on in Michael Collins Whiskey.
Michael Collins Irish Whiskey is a combination of malted barley, double distilled in pot stills and column-distilled maize whiskeys. Aged for a minimum of four years to more than 12 years, the blend has an aroma of honey, citrus and malt notes while the taste is clean, honey-sweet, with a fresh oak finish. Available in 1 liter, 750 ml, 375 ml, and 50 ml bottles.
Michael Collins Single Malt is double distilled in pot stills from malted barley, some of which is dried over peat fires. Aged in specially selected oak casks for a minimum of eight to more than 12 years, the single malt is well-rounded with a clean, malty, sweet citrus taste and wonderfully settled smoky flavor from the peat that lingers on the palate. Available in 750 ml bottles.
