Grand Marnier Higher Marques ~ 100th and 150th Anniversary

After it's creation in 1880, Grand Marnier liqueur immediately became the "cordial par excellence." The art and craftsmanship of the Société des Produits Marnier-Lapostolle is fully expressed in the Higher Marques of Grand Marnier: two award-winning liqueurs that count amongst the best spirits ever created.

Tasting notes:
The 100th Anniversary Grand Marnier is a medium amber with a copper-colored core. A bright, lively, zesty orange nose with hints of spice. A long, lingering finish with a beautiful balance between the cognac and the orange.

The 150th Anniversary Grand Marnier is a beautiful redish-gold core with light amber edges. A rich and powerful nose with noted of tangerine and cinnamon and a complex taste with wood and vanilla accents. Sensuous, deep and chocolate-like with a nutty, complex finish.

The Grand Marnier Cuvée du Centenaire (100th Anniversary) was voted Best Liquor and awarded Double Gold at the 2004 San Francisco Spirits Competition while the Grand Marnier Cuvée du Cent Cinquantenaire (150th Anniversary) was also voted Best Liquor and winning Double Gold at the 2005 San Francisco Spirits Competition.
