The absence of phenol alcohols and presence of ethyl alcohols, creates a feeling of "cleanness" and
smoothness. Since lots of things are smooth - I like to define smoothness in whiskey as "not hot in
the throat".

Bulleit Bourbon won a Gold Medal at the 2004 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, finishing in
