Livio Felluga

It is obvious that the story of Livio Felluga and his wines is bound up with the history of this very special land in the north east corner of the Adriatic, where the Mediterranean meets central Europe.

It is a history of ever-shifting frontiers, vanished empires, passing wars and people who have chosen to remain.

Livio Felluga has been a consistent leader in the production of high quality wines from Friuli for over fifty years. The Felluga family's origin in the art of wine making dates back even further: five generations to the mid-19th century. After World War II, patriarch Livio Felluga established the winery, now one of the most prestigious, and at 320 acres, one of the largest estates in the Friuli region. Livio's children currently manage the family estate and are dedicated to helping the family's distinctive wines to play a central role in the renaissance of Italian wines around the world.

After painstaking selection, the estate-grown grapes yield wines of unique fragrance and aroma. These are the “map label” wines.
They include single-variety whites that bring out the character of their grape with style, as well as the elegant Terre Alte, a skilful blend of Tocai Friulano, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon, and Illivio, obtained from a special selection of Pinot Bianco grapes.

With history and dedication on it's side, you are a sip away from a exhilarating experience.
