I. Southern Wine & Spirits of New England and The Hundred Club of New Hampshire
The Hundred Club of New Hampshire is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving families of law enforcement officers and firefighters of New Hampshire who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
According to Joe LaRocca, Vice President, General Manager of Southern Wine & Spirits of New England, the Company has been a Platinum Sponsor of the The Hundred Club for three years running for the group’s annual Charity Golf Classic. In addition, the Company supports The Hundred Club through other fundraising events throughout the year.
According to Mr. LaRocca, “We are proud to be a Platinum Sponsor for The Hundred Club’s annual golf outing fundraiser for the last three years. We are very proud of the support that we provide to the families of fallen law enforcement and firefighters of New Hampshire through this deserving organization.”
II. Southern Wine & Spirits of New England –New Hampshire and Other Charitable Activities
According to Joe LaRocca, Vice President, General Manager of Southern Wine & Spirits of New England, the Company also lends its support to the following New Hampshire -based non-profit organizations, including:
Alumni Association of Southern New Hampshire University. The Company contributes to the sponsorship of the Culinary Arts scholarship program through its Annual Wine Gala Event. This group has raised and awarded more than $20,000 in scholarships to date.
The Serenity Place of New Hampshire. This is a non-profit agency which provides a program to help those who suffer from addiction. The Company is a major sponsor for four years running.
New Hampshire Arthritis Association. The Company participates through major sponsorships through its annual Gold (golf) Tournament as well as other fundraising events throughout year.
The New Hampshire Easter Seals Association. As a “Gold” level donor, The Company participates in the group’s annual Wine Gala to benefit children and families throughout New Hampshire.
The Local Belknap/Merrimack Counties Food Bank. The Company supports this group during its annual food drive. This year, the non-profit group collected more than 600 pounds of canned goods. In addition, more than $11,000 in donations to local food bank thanks to the generosity of Southern Wine & Spirits of New England’s team members.
The New Hampshire Cancer Society and the New Hampshire Cystic Fibrosis Society. The Company supports these two local chapters via major sponsorships of their yearly fundraising events.
The Boys and Girls Club of Manchester, New Hampshire. Through sponsorships for wine tastings, golf tournaments and several other events throughout the year, the Company lends its support to this civic group.
In addition, the Company offers its support to many other local charities, including youth groups, church groups, local hospitals and area food banks via monetary and physical volunteerism, via road races, etc.
