Corporate sponsorship, community involvement and educational excellence are all important charitable concerns at Southern Wine & Spirits of New England, according to Randy Barnhart, Vice President, General Manager of Southern Wine & Spirits of New England, whose operations encompass New Hampshire, and which is a division of Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc., the country’s leading wine and spirits distributor with a tradition of service since 1968.

The Company’s division supports The New Hampshire Easter Seals Association. As a “Gold” level donor in 2009, The Company participates in the group’s annual Wine Gala to benefit children and families throughout New Hampshire.

In addition, the Company supports The Local Belknap/Merrimack Counties Food Bank during its annual food drive. In 2008, the non-profit group collected more than 600 pounds of canned goods from Company employee donations. In addition, in 2009, more than $,1000 in donations was turned over to local food bank thanks to the generosity of Southern Wine & Spirits of New England team members.

As in previous years, in 2009, the Company also supports the local chapters of The New Hampshire Cancer Society and the New Hampshire Cystic Fibrosis Society .

In addition and again as in previous years, in 2009 the Company has offered its support to many other local charities, including youth groups, church groups, local hospitals and area food banks via monetary and physical volunteerism, via road races and other special events.
