Larry Romer

Larry Romer is a graduate of Manhattan College and received his M.A. from Adelphi University in Garden City, Long Island.

He is a 37 year veteran in the Beverage Industry. Larry spent the first 9 years with the Coca ­Cola Bottling Company of New York before moving on to the Paddington Corporation. There he held the titles of New Jersey-New York State Managers before being promoted to Vice President of their Central Region, followed by their Western Region.

Larry then moved to the Jim Beam and eventually Future Brands Company where he ran almost every Division in the Company, including Canada, during his 13 year stay.

In 2005, Larry accepted his current position as Vice President-General Manager-Spirits for Southern Wine & Spirits of New York. He is responsible for all Spirits in the State of New York.

In 2007, Larry Romer was honored as the Long Island Salesmen's Club "Man of the Year". Since September 11, 2001, Larry has been raising money, with the help of Jim Beam and Southern Wine & Spirits, for the Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund. Through those efforts, he has helped the Fund raise over $500,000 dollars to support the families of active, retired, disabled, and deceased Fire Department members or Volunteer Department members.

In 2008, Larry was recognized as Boys Towns of Italy "Man of the Year" and in 2012 was LI Hospitality Ball's "Man of the Year".

Larry and his wife Debbie reside in Glen Cove, New York and have three wonderful children ­Kirsten, Heidi, and Keegan and two grandchildren.
