Southern Wine and Spirits of South Carolina is an enthusiastic contributor to Trident Tech College of Charleston, a technical college that offers a variety of culinary and hospitality management courses.

"We support Trident Tech's culinary education program via a number of fundraising events and are delighted to be their partner as they actively expand their academic training programs in the hospitality industry," said Don Richard, Vice President and General Manager of Southern Wine and Spirits of South Carolina, a division of Southern Wine and Spirits of America, Inc., "Proceeds from these events also go toward selected academic scholarships at Trident Tech," added Mr. Richard.

Southern Wine and Spirits of South Carolina is the exclusive beverage partner with Trident Tech in its annual wine and spirits tasting event, which attracts more than 2,000 guests and consumers, according to Mr. Richard. At this year's event, attendees will be able to sample a variety of fine wines, spirits and beers from around the world – all of which are furnished by the supplier partners of Southern Wine and Spirits of South Carolina – along with dishes, tastings and desserts prepared by the student chefs at Trident Tech.

The company also sponsors other fundraising events at Trident Tech's campus during the academic year, including premium Scotch tastings, again in cooperation with Southern's supplier partners, according to Mr. Richard.
