Culinary Students to Feed Fete-Set in Wine Event Fundraiser
Southern Wine & Spirits of South Carolina and Trident Technical College Kick off
the New Year with a Celebration of the Culinary Art.
On January 31, 2005, over 500 guests will gather to support education, innovation and economic growth as they enjoy A Night in the Valley, an evening of exquisite wines, sumptuous cuisine and phenomenal auction packages.
A Night in the Valley Vintners Dinner and Auction, hosted by Southern Wine & Spirits of South Carolina and the Trident Technical College Foundation, will be the premier wine and culinary event of the year. Guests will enjoy an elegant four-course dinner prepared and served by TTC’s culinary and hospitality students while sampling fine wines from around the world. Vintners from such notable wineries as Moët and Chandon, Chateau Ste. Michelle, Northstar and Charles Krug will be on site to present wine pairings that complement each course.
Silent and live auctions will include rare and allocated wines, jewelry, fine art, fabulous getaways, meals by local celebrity chefs and more. Packages will highlight what it means to be a tourist, whether in our own town or elsewhere, as well as organizations that support our culinary and hospitality industry. Proceeds from the event will benefit TTC culinary and hospitality students, the TTC Foundation and the Patrick E. Ringwald Memorial Garden at TTC.
