I.  Southern-Odom Spirits West - Utah and the Great Salt Lake Chili Affair

The Annual Great Salt Lake Chili Affair is the primary fund raising event for the Salt Lake Community Shelter and Self Sufficiency Center. The Road Home receives the majority of its yearly revenue from private donors who contributed approximately $2.5 million last year.

The event features local restaurants and chefs who donate chili, breads, salads and desserts. Beverage booth options include fantastic margaritas, local microbrews and wine. Live music, dancing, and a silent auction are just a few of the activities you can look forward to.

Mr. Lee said, “We are proud to be one of the sponsors of this annual event, which supports a number of worthy groups.”

II.   Southern-Odom Spirits West – Utah and Utah’s Hogle Zoo

In cooperation with American Express, Southern-Odom Spirits West ’s Utah division is an active supporter of the American Express Zoo Rendezvous, which the Hogle Zoo’s largest fundraiser, according to Lance Lee, Utah State Manager of Southern-Odom Spirits West , whose operations encompass Utah, and which is a division of Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc.

On Zoo Rendezvous night, the entire Zoo is transformed, with “Zoo-rific” cuisine and spirits, live entertainment and a silent auction, among other benefit events. All proceeds from Zoo Rendezvous are dedicated to animal care, exhibitions, and capital improvements.
